Great succinct tips David - helpful reminder.

I've read and love Atomic Habits & its uncanny how the tip of actually putting out what it is you want to work on (whether shoes etc) works.

All the best & keep on, Jim

A great article, David.

Filled with many of my favorite nuggets, consistency and don't skip twice some of the biggest ones.

Such great, practical tips! Thank you so much for sharing! You reminded me much of what I need to keep top of mind while I go after my goals, but the last one particularly stood out to me. I need to read Atomic Habits!

Yes to your second point.

Showing up consistently isn't doing the exact same thing, at the exact same intensity, every single day. That's rigidity. And that leads to burnout, un-fun, resentment, abandonment of goals, and it undermines your confidence because you see how you can't stay on track when you can’t keep it up at whatever you see as 100%.

Consistency is showing up repeatedly, even when the “how” changes. It's about maintaining the practice, not maintaining identical execution.

As long as you give a % of input X that creates results X, you're on track.
