My first post
Running Home #1 - Week 7/18 - Easy Run
I’m training for the TCS Sydney Marathon 2025 and I'm currently in week 7 of 18. Last week was a recovery week, and since I’ve been getting better at posting on Strava, I thought I’d share a bit more on another platform, like Substack.
Today’s run felt great. My body was well-rested, and I actually had to slow down at times to stay in zone 2. I ran at an average pace of 4:48/km with an average heart rate of 138 bpm.
At the end of the session, I did some running drills — high knees, heel kicks, and skipping, 2×30 meters. I want to include these one or two times per week to improve my technique and power.
My next step in this content creator journey might be filming myself running to analyze my form. I’ll also try to share more details about my training plan, strength work, and nutrition — so people can see the full picture of what I'm investing in.
Small milestone today: I hit the next VO2 max level on my Garmin - 53. If I stay consistent and injury-free, the next step will be the “superior” category.
But as I said, this journey isn’t just about training or food.
It’s about building something.
About Running Home — step by step.
